X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD)
The Rigaku SmartLab is an automated multipurpose high-resolution X-ray diffractometer featuring intelligent User Guidance software that guides operators through complex experiments. It includes the PhotonMax high-flux 9 kW rotating anode X-ray source and HyPix-3000 2D hybrid pixel array detector supporting 0D, 1D, and 2D measurement modes. The system features Cross-Beam-Optics (CBO) with fully automated switchable reflection and transmission optics, high-resolution theta/theta closed loop goniometer, and an available in-plane diffraction arm for 5-axis measurements. Applications include powder diffraction, thin film metrology, SAXS, in-plane scattering, and operando measurements. The SmartLab Studio II software supports 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for regulated environments.
